Briefing over, heading out to sail.
12 October saw the KYC 2014/2015 season commence. We had a great turnout of new and returning families and excellent sailing conditions. The Learn to Sail group completed all their preliminary pre-sailing tasks with with ease. This group finished their 50 (75?) metre swim at our newest boat ‘Kohi 1’ and then had a ride at speed before heading back to the beach.
The two sailing courses had a lot of competitive sailing as the sailors got back into summer sailing.
KYC is looking forward to a great summer of sailing as we celebrate our 75th season!
