Our Optimist fleet is divided into Green, Division 2 and Division 1. All three fleets train and race on a Sunday at the club. Midweek training is also held on a Wednesday evening. Contact the relavent fleet captain for further details here. Scroll down to the Fleet Captain list.
The Optimist is a single handed sailing dinghy. It has become the most popular boat in the world to learn the basic skills of sailing. It is popularly referred to as the “Opti”.
